San Francisco Style

IMG_7991

The weather is San Francisco is oh-so unpredictable. One day it is sunny, the next is foggy + according to meteorologist the ‘Perfect Storm’ is hitting the Bay Area today.

So I took these pictures yesterday + let me tell you, this outfit will not be on repeat today!

With all the unpredictable weather in mind, I always like to style a look that is weather + hill friendly.  A weather friendly look must include layers + a hill friendly look must include a pair of flats for the good old ‘San Francisco Switch’ (when you take off your flats 5 ft. before you enter an event + put on your heels).

IMG_7939I obsessed over this skirt for a solid two weeks. My shopping budget is not what it used to be…so after a couple of Poshmark sales, the seal of approval from Cara + a trip to the Anthropologie in Berkeley (with an extra 30% off sale)- it was finally mine!

Do you obsess + stew over fashion the way I do?

  1. Say what?! This is quite possibly one of my favorite looks on you! Stunning, my dear. I would save up for the skirt too!

  2. I heard what you have to say! You bring up an excellent point and I’ve wondered the same thing. I think comments are definitely heard even when it is a busy conversation. Even if the author does not have the bandwidth to respond to every single comment, other commenters that are subscribed can jump into the conversation like you and I are doing now.
One thing I’ve always wondered is… why don’t more commenters get into discussions with other commenters? There are so many good points to expand on in a lively conversation.

  3. I agree. I’d love to see more interaction between commenters to keep the conversation bubbling along.
you’re right about the difference between those wanting to add to the conversation and those who are just looking for traffic. Read through any long thread of comments and you’ll generally find a number of people restating what’s already been said. It shows that they had little interest in being part of what’s going on and more interest in just being seen to have their say.
