A Day in Le Marais

IMG_1141Le marsis is one of my absolute favorite neighborhoods in Paris. Spreading across the 3rd and 4th arrondissements on the right bank it is filled with shops, restaurants and several historic buildings. However, since my last visit to le marais, there has been a bit of a change. You literally can not turn a corner without finding parisian mega brand stores like Sandro or The Kooples! A lot of the big brands have moved in to this very hip neighborhood, but it still has its charm and some of my favorite places to shop in Paris!

For this look comfort was key. The weather was quite chilly when we first arrived, so I dressed in layers (my speciality). I just scored this peplum tank from Gap and found it on heavy rotation throughout the trip. It is the perfect piece for layering under a crop top or sweater and worked perfectly with this itchy cropped sweater! I was also dying to break out this Kenzo evil eye jacket. I purchased it just for the trip and knew it would be the perfect piece for le marais!

  1. Oh man, I haven’t been there in about 5 years and it definitely wasn’t a place to find the big names back then! Perhaps I just didn’t know the big Parisian names back then. Oh to go back there now! You look AMAZE! LOOOOOOOVING what you have done to your mane! xoxo, BA
